They can cut that check without needing to borrow money, but they are appealing... Let's see what the appeal does.The fine is the highest ever imposed by the regulator and represents 4.15% of Intel's 2008 turnover. The U.S. chip maker immediately said it would appeal. The Commission is entitled to levy fines of up to 10% of a company's annual revenue.
