Ok, this is going to sound stupid, but for the life of me I can not find a cordless phone setup that doesn't require you to transfer calls from handset to handset.
Right now I have the main base and satellite bases. I can answer any phone in the house, then if need someone else can pick up another and join in.
All the new cordless kits that have a main base and then the satellite bases, but you have to transfer/conference a call to a certain phone. I have kids, the phones don't always end up back on the base they came from. That and don't feel like teaching an 8 year old how to transfer and conference calls.
anyone know of such a phone system?

Re: Cordless phones
Might, I'll hit up Panasonic's site and see if I can get the manual.
But from what I have gathered, the DECT 6 setups can go one way or the other. ALL the 2.4 and 5.8GHz setups you have the transfer.
Never heard of the DECT 6 phones till I started searching this morning.

I have that Panasonic phone setup. Transfers are automatic...just pick up any receiver and its live. Battery life sucks though. Anybody know a good cordless setup that uses lithium batteries?
