deciding an a cpu cooler

Post by lacrossetown »

man, there are so many diferent coolers on the market right now... the domino, the vantage, and the
ZALMAN CNPS10XExtreme 120mm CPU Cooler

which would be the best for a first build? and keeping in mind i still want maximum airflow in my cooler master haf 932
which one would you pick or if you have any other suggestions that would be great!

1. DONT GET THE DOMINO.
2. DONT GET THE DOMINO.

that zalman isnt amazing, the performa is better, i have the Corsair H50 and it isn't that great either(though it is better than the ECO and Domino) i'd look into noctua

On a budget get the CNPS10X Performa ($45 and very easy to install), good performance and quiet the NH-U12P SE2 ($60ish), great performance the NH-D14 ($80 at crazypc.com) or the Venomous X with a pair of nice fans ($60 on mwave +cost of fans).

If you dont plan on doing crazy oc's get the performa, if your planing on pushing it for all its worth the Ven X or D14.

You didn't say what CPU, if your going AMD then the Ven X is out, all the others will do both AMD and Intel.
