Close projector

Post by tekgek »

Hi there,

I am currently working on a projector which requires projection from about 1 1/2 to 2 feet from the screen. Is there any projector on the market that can do this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tekgek.

hopefully about 31 inches, but it will probably be smaller. I have now taken exact measurements. I have 29 inches of space to work with, including the length of the projector.

Hope this helps

you're talking about a throw distance of 18" which i don't think any can do and even if they can the display size can't go much above 20" diagonally, can you use a mirror and have the projector shooting at the mirror reflecting back at the display screen?

out of curiosity what is this for?(are we talking about a table, standard classroom type hang-from-ceiling-project onto a wall, projector in the wall onto a big screen etc.)

Okay, I am using a mirror and a borrowed projector. This works perfectly.

As for what this is for, well, you'll see it on youtube in a few weeks. :)
