Bandwidth Monitoring

Post by Mortious »

Hey guys, Im looking for some software that will allow me to monitor my bandwidth. Currently Im using Bandwidth Monitor Pro, but it doesn't give me the details I need.

I would really like to know what program is using what bandwidth (if thats even possible).

Any sugestions?

Don't forget, Ethereal is ILLEGAL to use on a network for any reason. You're essentially stealing peoples information. It's called packet sniffing.

Cisco is good about picking up packet sniffers too, couple Cisco products with an IDS on an enterprise network, and you're as good as gone if you try to hack it, though a few of the rare, extremely experienced ones have been able to hack it. Anyone hear anything about whether someone has managed to hack StrongBox yet?

Not even on your personal network man. It's illegal to packet sniff... period! The sniffers are out there for educational purposes, but obviously people use them for more than just that.
