Why on earth, when I restart my computer, do my screen saver and power management settings turn OFF... It's irritating having to set them every time I restart.
Anyone know about this issue and how to fix it?

Uh-oh
I hate to tell you, but that is probably bad news. Those are settings that should always be remembered. Has it ever worked? If it has try to restore back to a time it worked. Otherwise I dunno...maybe back-up and reformat the HDD...Its drastic but it should fix the problem.

It has worked in the past and worked the last two times I rebooted my system. I actually reformatted about 2 months ago, so I'm not in a hurry to do it again. I'm just curious if this is a problem with Winblows or the CMOS forgetting the setting in power management somewhere?

um...
I honestly don't know if it is a Windows error or not...did you try your system restore settings to a time it worked? I think it saves 2 - 3 months worth of save points...that might fix it and its not as drastic as reformatting.
