Dual Processor Board
Dual Processor Board
I have a board with dual processor support but only installed a 775 P-4 630 3 gig but in the device manager in window Xp it lists 2 Pentium 4 3.0 gig processors is this normal I was going to uninstall one of the entries but i said to myself is it bothering anything I guess not so I have left it alone for know anybody have any feedback on this issue or nonissue. Thanks

I suspect he means dual-core processor support. A dual P4 board would be very strange since AFAIK Intel makes sure that their P4 procs will not work in a dual socket board. The board is model Asus P5P800SE with upgraded bios 0401 and oc'ed to 3.3 and yes it is a dual-core processor board Thanks for the info
