Testing speed of USB

Anyone know of a software test for USB ports? The ones I have found require a hardware loopback device and software driven tests require you to give them some green to activate.

nope, sorry. all i know of is in the decive manager under the USB drivers in their propterty app, under the Advanced Tab is a bandwidth use monitor. if that helps at all.

Sisoft Sandra i reckon is ur best bet...... will do the speed test and thensome....

i have seen some motherboard reviews use a program to test how long it takes for a file size to transfer, but not an actual speed.
