Atleast until they drop Star-Forced from their copy protection.

Vicious little driver will kill your CD/DVD-ROM by forcing it into PIO. Cuts down on burn speeds too.

I wonder what legal recourse one would have if you could prove that Starforce caused problems with your pc and ultimately cost you money to correct? Seems like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

Yeah, but they would counter-sue for defamation hoping you would drop the case. Unless you could prove it, it would be best left alone.
