Post by InspectahACE »

lookin for damn good asus board..but the 2 asus boards i saw support ati crossfire...problem is...i bought nvidia..so im wonderin if the P5W DH Deluxe will do sli since it looks like an sli board..the Asus P5WDG2-WS also says crossfire but looks way different in terms of pci-e slots..from what i know crossfire is right on top of each other while sli has at least one slot in between

It makes no difference on the space between the PCI-e slots, its all to do with the drivers and how the system deals with the cards...

Like you said most of them are crossfire, maybe you'll have to wait for the nvidia 5XX conroe chipsets, unless anyone else knows of some SLi boards.

I read on the Anandtech forums that the name of the mobo is the Asus P5N32-SLI SE.

A number of SLI boards have been built for testing and for what I know are all under lock at key at the labs of the Tier one folks.
