Here's the deal. I just upgraded from an 820 to a 930 this summer. And well its been nothing but a pain. First board an ASUS died, taking a raptor with it. Second board the Abit in my sig has notorious memory issues, meaning a cpu that should do 4.0ghz on water, is held back by a board that can't even run my ram at its rated speed. 245FSB is the best I can do. Here's my deal. I want to know what you guys think about upgrading just the motherboard and cpu. I want to get 4.0ghz+ performance on a 930 in a Conroe system. But its gotta be done on a budget, IE sub 200 motherboard, 6300 and sub 200$ 2X1GB Memory. Can this be done? Should I just wait till better boards are out. And what do you guys think I could sell my motherboard, chip and ram for.
Thanks to all who respond

yup right. Let me outline it for you
Budget Setup.
New Mobo - Under 200
CPU - E6300
Gonna hold off on the Memory
I want the performance of the E6300 equal to that of 4.0GHZ 930. If that is possible
If I do go the conroe route, I would sell the 930 and Abit Board
What is the value in that system, if I would sell it here and other enthusiast boards
Is that clearer?
