The current server has a pair of Dual-Core Opterons (4-cores already) and 4GB of ECC DDR memory and can handle a ton of traffic. It runs LAMP and is fully 64-bit, so it's been built to last. It's handled 50,000+ unique visitors in a single day and has yet to bog. I'm not worried so much about speed, but the 10,000RPM drives. They seem to be working just fine and have been for the past four months.
