new monitor

Post by zparker »

I am going to be moving to Dubai for the next 6 months to 2 years and will be doing alot of gaming to pass the time. I currently have the acer 22" widescreen 5ms monitor. I love it it is smooth and dont have any issues with quality of picture even in CS Source.

But I am going to be spending alot of time in front of my pc and have decided to go bigger. I found the new Acer 26"widescreen 5ms and wanted to know if there is a difference in height between a 26" and a 24" or if the difference is just in the width.

None of the stores in Houston have this in stock but can get it overnighted for 45 bucks. They do though have the 24" 5ms in stock.

If there is not a difference in heights and its only the widths i will get the 24 and live with it. but...if the height is diff i am going to go for the 26.

What do you guys know?

Specs off Newegg and Tiger Direct, i have the Samsung 22" widescreen so i cant vouch for the accuracy.

i personally hate dell, they use s**t parts and offer s**t support. but from what i've read dell moniters are VERY good the 24" in particular. the ones u get wen u buy a comp from them are crap but the 242 ones that are like £500 are VERY good, all the gamers use them (if i had the money i wud get 1)
