The Targus Pointer seems fine except, the first time a had a need to use it I was only trying to display a file tree and it wouldn't quite work.

I had to have a separate device for mouse functions.

I haven't used a presenter in six months, but wouldn't you want your mouse and presenter as separate devices?

I usually use a notebook with a mouse to get things going and then user the pointer/presenter to do the rest when I'm not at the laptop.

Yeah, the $70 is not a wireless mouse, for something with an integrated mouse/joystick, you need a device such as this one that lists for like $200.
