Does anyone know why my Dell D620 has a SIM slot under the battery?

Mobile Broadband
Use built-in mobile broadband from Dell to access email and the Internet through Sprint, Cingular, or Verizon Wireless cellular networks, with download speeds averaging 400Kbps to 700Kbps - about as fast as some DSL connections. Built-in from Dell is up to 84% faster than other notebook manufacturer's built-in mobile broadband. Click Help Me Choose for more information. Now get a $100 rebate from Verizon Wireless - go to http://www.dell.com/verizonwireless for details. Please note that you will also need a wireless subscription from Sprint, Cingular, Verizon Wireless (additional daily or monthly access fees will apply).

It'll be one of these:
'Dell Wireless 5500 Built-in HSDPA Mini-Card' or the 'Dell Wireless 5700 Built-in EVDO Mini-Card'

Would have thought that was why... :P
