Overclocking e6300 with P5W-DH problems

Post by maj0r_pawnage »

Well I'm using the rig below, I was thinking the only reason I couldn't OC my cpu anymore was because I had a weird ram set up, so today I bought 2GB of pc-6400 tracers and my comp (no matter at what voltages) simply refuses to go above 375MHz fsb. (right now I have the ram @ pc-7100@ 4-4-4-10) and yes I've tried to loosen the timings but nada
E6300 @ 3.51GHz 1.392v
Asus Maximus Formula
Antec 550Watt Psu
Mushkin DDR-1206@ 5-5-5-15 / 2.28v
Zalman CPU Cooler CNPS7700
6408800GTS(OC 691MHz Core/2.132GHz Mem)
2x80mm case fans +2x120mm case fans

I was going to get that board at one point, so looked into it's overclocking potential, and remembered coming across this tweak guide for that board:

See if it helps.
