According to the widescree's web site, there are certain games can be natively played on widescreen resolutions, and there is a very small amount of games which are certified by the WSGF. The vast majority Many games still need widescreen support.

If I get a widescreen, a quad, and SLI, then I would need to play games that support widescreen, utilize all the 4 cores, and that have optimized profiles for SLI. If we use this filter for games, I don't know if there exists even one game that can fully use up my system. :(
