If I get a widescreen, a quad, and SLI, then I would need to play games that support widescreen, utilize all the 4 cores, and that have optimized profiles for SLI. If we use this filter for games, I don't know if there exists even one game that can fully use up my system.

According to the widescree's web site, there are certain games can be natively played on widescreen resolutions, and there is a very small amount of games which are certified by the WSGF. The vast majority Many games still need widescreen support.
