that is defo some art work there bio. now i wouldnt mine having that rig. so give us your address so i can steal it lol :finga:.

in responce to mr_noname111 each of my 12v is max to 22a which 44a altogether but i know that it wont equal 44a altogether probs bout 35a tops but ,still that should be enough to power my rig. so why does it keep turning my pc off whenever i do a psu test equivalent.

by psu test i mean linpack and cpu normal test also with gpu memory test and normal test all running at once to test out my maximum psu capability. but assuming its not stable as it turns off. even when i do a gpu test my pc turns off but the other tests complete fine with no errors. also i know that the graphics cards are the most power demanding componant in a pc.

InspectahACE wrote::oops: yes sadly. UPS was playing around with the shipping time of the parts so I didn't order the new cooler yet..told me thursday but they arrived friday..had i know it would arrive Friday I would've overnighted it to arrive on the same day lol..also, the way the motherboard mounting holes were placed, are kind of odd. I thought the gigantic hole on the tray was for not having to remove the motherboard to install a "non-push pin"cooler..yet the mounts are off by quarter to half inch so i still have to take it out..which im waiting to do anyway due i gotta crack the case open again soon when i get the rest of the parts..even prevents me from using 2 psu's when doing TRI-SLI

well now.. the Haf 932 is either made weird or I got a weirdly made one..I cannot do TRI-SLI in this case. The way the mounts are on the tray for the motherboard are in such a position that its not possible(if they didn't make a slot for a water cooler or 2nd psu 3 video cards would have fit..bastards)..bummer..Oh well..I get to keep my sound card then :) the onboard sucked

Actually im not sure what happened to it..I was puttin my sound card in on the Death Star and then when i walked into my room i saw it shut off and never come back on..its happened before, but the motherboard died then the first time. what I think happened, (I haven't checked so i don't know for sure) is that I had it plugged into the wall before i got a power surge protector installed..oddly it was fine for 4 days..and the rest is history..(i didnt have to send the tx-750 back either but that was realized after i shipped it)..so once i get a new psu for the Death Star im gonna put in the 750 on the Jedi temple and go from there..specially since no power is going to it regardless..at least now i know i have a bad socket somewhere lol I knew my house wiring wasn't "brand new" so to say..but damn why my room..lol I'm just glad whatever did it, that my new rig wasn't hooked up :prayer:

well this is weird. lol.. the Jedi Temple rose from its grave and i didn't do a damn thing..( did unplug it for a few days along with puttin it on a surge protector now) well..either a power surge got it..or since it is gettin hot in Vegas and the thing isn't exactly air friendly with its shoddy wiring on it( i never spent enough time gettin wires out of way, spose i should now) it probably overheated somehow..it was folding via cpu and gpu when it went down so its a good chance it overheated..oh well.just glad it works..only found out when i was tryin to see if my x-fi platinum had a hynix chip on it.. my current x-fi titanium(nonfatality) has one and was sure hynix makes ram chips :) wouldnt be bad to get free ram on a card that doesn't charge or advertise it :)

I realised I didn't have the latest incarnation of my rig on this thread, so here's to more pimping it :P

Image

It's an Asus P5Q3-Deluxe Board, E8400 (trying for a 4Ghz overclock), 2GB 1800Mhz CL7 DDR3 RAM, Sapphire HD 4850, 2x WD 640GB in raid 0, Skythe Kazemaster fan controller, 610W PCP&C Silencer, same watercooling as before.

That is CLEAN! DANG! Your wiring job is amazing. I only wish mine would have turned out that nice. I'll post up my pics this week after I fix my wiring on the 4870's.

I'd probably call it more of a hose job than a wiring job considering the wiring is near extinction in his tower  very nicely done dude..

Man, some of you guys have more patience then I do with the wiring. Give me a handful of zip ties and I'll do my best.

wiring clearing is a pain. i am in the middle of sorting mine out and bloody hell its hard i cant get the wires to look any better. ok longer wires would make it easier to tidy but then thats alot of work re-wiring. oh well i think i well have to do my best with what i got.
