this is the board I have now
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_sp ... V&class=mb
running 256 of kingston 2700, and a 3.6 p4 560j
says its using 64mb for the vid, still sucks. the ol' letter to saint nick has a vid card on the list
oh, I know its agp, at the time I bought it I was planning on using my 5700ultra a little longer, then it died. oh well, so much for the low cost upgrade.

Personally, I would still go for PCI-E, especially if you do any sort of gaming, because of bunch of hi-performance cards (ie. 6800GT/Ultra, 7800GTX, etc) are heading that way if I'm correct. DFI would be a better fit in that case, but tends to like hi-performance memory too. Gaming rigs can get expensive, but if you're not really doing anything like that then the MSI board should be plenty, just beef up the video card
.

Probably programmed the game with a scalable graphics engine; they know they need the money to stay in business, and they're willing to gear it towards both the low-end and high-end system users. Not a bad thing if I say so myself, though the ulterior motives may make them look a little desperate, but what do I know, lol.
