must have got ahold of a pre-week 39 XP, the ones that come after that week are locked on the multi, and you have to bridge the L5 and L6 (I think that's right???) connections with conductive silver paint (might have been L4 and L5, and there's another pair you have to bridge too but forgot that one, lol). Did you manage to get the 400 FSB out of it btw? I know the 2500 (or was it the 2800) was the base model for the 333 bus....the 3200 is a pretty good processor for basic office and app needs, and light gaming. Hell, it worked pretty well for streaming video from the Web too, at least for the setup I built for my buddy. decent system man

I was talkin about the processor, hell the card is more than plenty for light gaming....so you have an X2 now? awesome, awesome processor, and at a good price too. I'm glad this stuff's coming down, though of course I think they're doing that to make way for socket M2 processors and mobo's, so they gotta clear 939 out, though it will still be popular for awhile to come.

How would your GPU do more work than your CPU? (Unless you have a GTX512MB, which can run at best 600MHz+ core and more than 1800MHz memory). I have a AMD64 3400+ 939 pin @ 2.2GHz

That was a joke but sometimes it seems like the gpu actually processes more than the cpu. No one here apparently, but I have a friend with the shittiest budget pc ever- but his graphics card is twice as expensive as his mobo and cpu together- and although his cpu might technically be faster, I'll say that his gpu is doing more processing ;p
