Not true. With laser mice, I've used it on a glass table and it still tracked well enough to navigate in games and in Windows. A true gamer would never do that, but black, white, reflective, cloth,... doesn't matter with laser. It reads 20x more accurate than optical.Best to have a mouse pad with a pattern.

Well the new logitech gaming wireless mouse comes with two batteries, and as long as ur not lazy, and keep one charging it only takes a couple of seconds to swap batteries.Nobahar wrote:I wouldn't go with wireless for one reason- the battery will need to be replaced and if that's in the middle of a cs game I will probably break the mouse.

i have had it for a good couple weeks now...the only problem with it i see is that the battery doesnt stay charged too long. come to think of it...i might have the thing on the wrong charging setting...i got to check that when i get home. the battery changing is super easy though. i also use the thing all the time, lots of gaming and stuff...

Here's What I use
Well I know wireless mice are not ideal, and I do keep a wired optical mouse in my desk drawer, but I find that the new Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 is great. Its very comfortable to use and I can still maintain a KDR in Scoutknivez in CS:S. I like it, other's don't. I'd suggest giving some a try before your buy one.

wireless mice kick butt. if u have a mouse with a cord u will die more times than that 1 time when u r replacing the battery for the mouse (assuming it happens during a firefight). u can choose to play 24/7 with an uncomfortable (u will always feel the wire) or buy a wireless... that one death is nothing i made the switch and im happy about it
