I agree with Wyatt; go for the 8800 or wait until March/April when--supposdely--an 86xx version is supposed to be release.

Just a few thoughts. Have you planned out where you'll pick up all these components? Newegg, computer shows (a quick way to find local shops for the price of admission), retail outlets using promo codes or coupons?

Even with resellerratings.com (spelling?) I still don't like using the smaller companies listed from pricewatch.com when ordering online pc parts. Just too many screw ups in the past. Late shipments, double billed, unable to cancel orders... just the thought of a company struggling to complete orders correctly makes me think securing their customers data ie cc# takes a backseat.

OEM parts sometimes have zero warranty regardless of what the manufacturer boasts, just note the fine print or double check those websites for warranty coverage. Example: oem maxtor drives from newegg must be returned to newegg within 1 year and I have no idea if they do RMAs with a failure code prerequisite. No coverage from Maxtor, who was purchased by seagate correct? Seagate site takes all the drive id info then politely tells you to pound sand and return a bad OEM disk to the system builder, heh.

If any brick and mortar store, big or small is available and the price is right, (google promos or coupons, credit card offers) I think everyone here will agree to go there. So much easier to smash face in person vs over the phone when problems come up. :P

Have fun!
