my case :)

Post by stopthekilling77 »

for a case with no clearance issue worries, i'd say take a look at the Antec P180, which is reviewed here: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/224/1/

and if you dont feel like dishing out full price, the Antec B-stock site ( http://www.antec.com/us/pro_b_stock.php ) , from which i purchased MY P180 (last case series i think i'll ever buy  ) nevermind the "minor blemish" issue, cause i've checked mine over twice and i can see nada in the way of "blemishes"

just a suggestion, but it comes highly recommended, dont be fooled by its simple (i'd say professional and slick) appearance, it's a BEAST. by the way, they were talking about fans, this one has 5 120mm fan placements, coming with 3 standard :)

good luck man!

Hi everyone and thanks for all the great suggestions. The only problem I have now is that all the upgrades have priced the system past what I can actually afford.

It is extremely hard to configure a gaming computer for around $1000 and have it be anywhere near current.

What killed it the most was the video card...but its so awesome! I guess I will wait for the release of the 8600.

Oh well, I can either downgrade a bit, or just order a few pieces at a time. There are a few items that I will just not change.

If you can think of any downgrades that would still be decent, let me know. Thanks again for all the help.
