My M-Audio was awesome but it doesn't support Vista and M-Audio says they wont any time soon. So what do you use?

Audigy 2 ZS.

My speaker collection is worth over $1000, and getting to the point where I could see some improvement with a better soundcard. However, the Creative X-fi doesn't have the driver support or outputs in the actual soundcard that I'm looking for, and other cards don't have the game support that I'd like. I'll have to take a good look at the Auzen x-fi.

*shiver* Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic, I did find drivers for 64-bit and 32-bit on Creative's site. Now the question is whether those drivers actually work. Which I won't know until I get my new motherboard (I hate MSI, had to put that out there again for about the fiftieth time)

that's what I'm using, but the interference the mobo is giving to the sound is driving me up a wall. I need something cheap in a sound card.

I would either go for the integrated sound (shiver... should only be used as last resort) or you can probably get a real cheap Soundblaster Audigy card on ebay or amazon (I would try amazon :) ). It's an older card, but it works wunderfully.

well I want something equivalent to the sound of the Revolution

or its

Sample Rate 192KHz
Digital Audio 24-bit

At least I think that's what I want? Does it all matter on the chip or what? I mean I'll be fine with a Creative Card, if it sounds as good

or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 02006#spec

vs

this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6829121006

I will spend no more than 100$

Creative X-Fi Platinum Sound Card with Front I/O Panel...I'm not even using the I/O Panel though ehehe.

Drivers are fine...no problems too much yet...
