BF1942 and Vista

I've been running BF1942 on my Vista computer with an ATi Xpress 200 just fine, but when I try to run it on my friend's geforce6150LE or my vista laptop with an intel 950 the graphics are screwy as in some of the crosshairs won't show up or some of the lines in the dialog boxes and main menu screen's checkboxes or slider bars don't show up. After lowering the graphics settings on my laptop the crosshairs appeared, but when the screen blanked out because of a driver issue, they were gone again. I loaded the latest intel drivers for vista and the crosshairs are still gone. I've read other people have experienced this issue I was just wondering if anyone has a solution. Thanks.
