Well i just downloaded coretmp .95 and its telling me my vcore is 1.3250, while in bios its set up for 1.4000v? could it be that the bios is being overridden?BTW all of the other stats seem fine

CPUZ doesn't read C2D voltages correctly and AFAIK CoreTemp uses the same code CPUZ uses to read them.

The programs read what the sensors report just fine, unfortuneatly, the sensors are useless.

Unless you have a mobo or PSU problem, the value you set in the BIOS should be real close to the real value, grab a multimeter from somewhere if you want to check.

You can get a cheap one for like 10$

Do you really need 1.4V to boot your E6300 @ 2.66?

<-----(always finds money somewhere to upgrade comp :P)yes it wont run, it goes into windows but constantly freezes up during games or even before i get a chance to do anything, with anything lower than 1.4000v lol cant wait to toss out my ram and get some dominators/ a new HSF so i can max out my e6300(Thermalright ULTRA-120 Extreme FTW)
