hi,
I have these 2 startup items.
I am wondering if it is safe to stop them from starting up with windows.
Would it be ok if I disabled them from starting up via msconfig?
thanks.

startup item: Insfbebn
command: rundll32.exe"C:\WINDOWS\sytem32\Insfbebn.dll",realset
location: common startup

startup item: reset
command: c:\WINDOWS\repair.bat
location: common startup

I've no idea what either of those are, and google isn't very helpful.

Have you run things like adaware, spybot and a anti virus to make sure they aren't anything nasty?

Otherwise try disabling them and see what happens.

well to find out what the .bat file is doing is easy, just open it with notepad and take a look to see whats going on.

as for the DLL file, never seen that one.

Run spybot - http://www.spybot.com plus the hijackthis program http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.php

hopefully they will help!
