Convert Tbird Emails to Outlook

I was asked to transfer a bunch of Emails from Tbird to Outlook. So I checked and for some reason Tbird won't allow me to do this. I need a program to convert it since Tbird won't allow me to export the mail in eml format.
I found Aid4mail, but I don't want to pay $50 for it. Is there no freeware to do it?
P.S. sorry for my crappy typing, I am recovering from this:

what format with Thunderbird allow you to export to and what version of Thunder Bird?

Right! Links check out with legit and free solutions so I left them stay. Not a whole lot going on in here anyway
