Hi Guys,
Basically i made a big mistake i went vista before SP1 BIG mistake... neway i am rebuilding my comp and i've got a couple of problems with drivers....:
ive looked on the net for drivers and cant find ne...
the drivers i was looking for are:
Base System Device,
Base System Device,
Base System Device,
BCM2045,
Network Controller,
SM Bus Controller.

Ne ideas, im stuck!

Ne help with these prob and the solutions would b a great help.. well back to the long search lol

Oh yeh btw ive got a Dell Insparon 9400 with XP...

Your Dell recovery discs will have the drivers you need - you should be able to just use them to install XP and everything should be fine.

i've bin on there,
i'll just use my bro's drivers for xp, i got my xp off my mspn licence,
so i didnt get the drivers list.. =(

Sounds like motherboard chipset drivers. What chipset is that Dell using? If you don't know get CPU-Z. From there get the appropriate chipset package, i.e. Intel, VIA, SiS, nVidia, ATi.

Example.

kk m8 ive done it all and i got a intel i945PM....

and download the set for your OS. See if that clears it up.

The chipset drivers are on the link I gave you from Dell - EVERYTHING you need for drivers is there, unless you changed something.
