Wireless Keyboard help

Hey there everyone

I've had the Logitech LX700 wireless duo for a few years now, and it's served me well. however, just today i turned on my computer and now some of the keys aren't doing what they're supposed to. left CTRL opens up the calculator and my email program (thunderbird). right CTRL puts my comp. into standby and then crashes it, and the "my documents" hotkey actually right clicks AND opens whatever file it feels like. i've reset all the defaults in the keybinding program (setpoint) and now i've uninstalled it. as i write this i'm downloading the newest setpoint version and hopefully that will help me... any thoughts?

change the batteries if it uses them, and reconnect the keyboard and mouse. Sounds like a bad connection due to low battery power

well, i changed the batteries and sadly, it seemed to do nothing :( one important thing i forgot to mention is that a few days ago i washed my keyboard through the dishwasher. i used all the precautions (letting it sit for a while with no batteries in it, letting it dry for at least 2 days) but maybe that could have something to do with it? as I type this i now notice that at random my text will begin appearing at the beginning of this paragraph instead of the end, and each time i need to re-click at the end for it to work :( fryed keyboard? or what else?

Circuit boards don't take nicely to water. Why in god's name would you wash it in the dishwasher? The elcheapo's yeah you can wash those, but not these. Your keyboard is dead. Sorry man

Even if it survived the wash cycle, the heat cycle could have killed it.

Seems a totally random thing to do to clean it >_<
Stick to a brush and maybe a screwdriver next time?

I just pop all the keys off use some compressed air to get the junk out, and throw the keys in a diluted solution of windex and water. Leave it over night, and its all sparkly and shiny

Next time pop the keys out of the keyboard and use Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol.

Sounds like more of a feature to me! Ive always wanted a button that crashes my computer! Im sorry to laugh at your situation, but I have never heard of washing electronics in a dishwasher
