Lately, I've been having problems with my Logitech Cordless Laser 3000 keyboard and MX1000 mouse. Occasionally, it appears that the driver software gets a mind of its own. Before you ask "Why do you install drivers for a mouse and keyboard?" let me answer. I like the media buttons on my keyboard. If there is alternate software that will work with Vista x64 I will gladly take it. But I do not know that there is, if in fact such software exists.

Back to the problem: The arrow keys can be used to scroll. Now, try typing when someone is holding down the left arrow key. The typing would come out backwards! Try doing anything where a left-scroll command would get the way. Get my drift? It's very annoying. The only way to cure this is to quit SetPoint and relaunch it. Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver does not help, the problem eventually returns.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the MX1000 and setpoint 4 on xp and no problems. But your problems are keyboard related, so I can't check those. >_<

Someone mentioned interference from a wireless router. Their solution was reducing the router's transmit power. How would I do that?

Erm, not all routers have that capability, if yours does, then you should be able to configure it in the browser login feature.

You could try altering the channel the router broadcasts on instead if the above isn't an option. Mine has 11 channels, so if it is on 11 now then try it on 1.

The batteries on the keyboard are still good right? They usually mess up when they are dying.
