Youtube video capturing

There have been some really good YouTube video's I've seen in the past, but are no longer on YouTube for one reason or another. Either they got taken down or the user removed them. :( Some of these were done really good.

One such YouTube video was that of a Plymouth SuperBird doing an awesome burnout. Now why that got removed months later, I have no idea. Was the EPA mad about it?

So, my question is, Is there some sort of YouTube video ripper (grabber) to save to a hard drive in the AVI, WMA, DivX, or another popular format for F-R-E-E? :P

I'm getting this strange error in Firefox while getting this add-on.

"The add-on you're looking for is in the sandbox, which you do not have enabled in your user preferences."

The one you have listed has not been tested enough to come out of the "sandbox." The sandbox is an add-on development release that's not yet ready to go live to the public. :( I did however create an account on the Mozilla site and found a handful of other add-on's that do things very similar to the one you had listed. :)

OK, the add-on called "Fast video Download" works great!

I'm now using the VLC to view the FLV files too.

To get into the sandbox all you need to do is sign up for it. Its were all the "testing" phase stuff plays until it has the official nod from FF.
