Well there a plenty of gamers rather they are console users (xbox, ps2) or pc gamers that are going to be over there with me. While in Afghanistan we used a hub to connect multiple tents and bash eachother on halo and ghost recon... Now that people are bringing their laptops or systems and even some are asking me if I can put one together for them once we are there (I know, me of all people... SCARY) we will have them. So after saying all this I have been wondering which would be the best and most practical way to play as a LAN? Ive thought of either using a switch (saw a 24port) as well as trying to get something wireless which would be the best way being as were all going to be somewhat close. Depending on how many I have thought of maybe putting a server style pc together (since Ive always wanted one but couldnt justify having it). Anyhow, what do you guys think would be the best route?

Switch and cables if you're close enough.
before you go wireless, you might want to check and see if personal networks are allowed, and not jammed (deliberatly or due to equipment in use)

switch and cables is definitely the fastest.

If you have to you can use wireless, but i would make sure that you only let people with 802.11g connect, as anyone with a slower system will force every one to work at the speed. All hail the lowest common denominator.
