wow... A weak US dollar means outher countries and companies will buy up our stuff when the dollar is low... Looks like it's starting to happen in the tech sector.

Which in turn pushes the dollar back up.

I've got a good friend from Abu Dhabi (well, Dubai, but he lived in Abu Dhabi when he was younger), I'll have to mention this to him to see what he thinks.

Good, the dollar could use a good push. I'm honestly surprised the dollar is even worth a dime anymore considering all the debt and spending. The middle class has been pushed about as hard as they can be pushed without pushing back, but I suspect that is coming. Spending is so out of control that even all the taxes we pay don't even put a dent into it...debt, even worse.

But how will that effect AMD? or AMD stocks price? If Dhabi pours resources into AMD, perhaps that will give them the props they need to turn the corner on their longterm issues.

Or they squander it and make another processor a year after its competition that still doesn't even do as well in benchmarks... cough*phenom*cough
