Because if you don't know the problem then its hard to find a catagory.
On my best friend google. I searched for my problem as usual. And if it doesn't work I turn to my trusted site that seems to work out 99% of my problems called legitreviews.com and here I am.
Ok oddly.
In games I don't get these mysterious dots on my screen. Or using hd movies. but, when I play a video that is youtube quality or from youtube itself. I get pixels that are white on the darks. I've never seen this. It can't be artifacting because ati tool detects nothing and its fine playing games. then I was told its your memory since you probably know by now I have a good brand of 2 x 1gb and a cheap 2 x 512. I do stuff on photoshop that seems to take up more than my alloted 2gb(between that and watching a movie and playing around online at the same time.) And the memory seems fine doing that. But, for this I did take out my memory the good and the bad I was using 1gb for a while with the cheaper patriot brand. and got the pixels after a few hours again. (wow does having 1gb suck) So I was glad it happened on that. Then I switched to my 2gb and it was fine again for a few hours then did it again. So I know its not the memory either. but, when I restart it goes away for a long time.
It went away when I lowered my cpu overclock and voltage tho.. Does this mean its my cpu? I only lowered it enough to run at stock voltage tho. 2.65 vs 2.75ghz
