It looks a bit risky, but I might give it a go. I like the line at the end:

omg, thank you thank you thank you...I hope this works...I'm going to try it later.

I have this one pixel on the bottom of my monitor that doesn't get in the way of gaming, but it catches your eye now and then. Hopefully this will work.

Not sure if this will even work as I tried everything for this one dead pixel I have and nada.

Tried the color flashing and the pressure ones before, haven't tried the tapping.
From my experiences, you're more likely to destroy it than fix it so if it doesn't bother you, don't bother it.
Plz, have mercy, I know nothing about (modern) computing!!!

I've had success both using a pencil eraser to gently massage the pixel and running that java applet to flash the colors. Just note that anything other than the java applet may cause permanent (and worse!) damage to your screen.
