HardDrive compatibility with my mobo

Post by SuperGnar »

im trying to figure out if this hard drive(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822148288) will work with this mobo(http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... etailspecs). im pretty sure it should but i am not quite sure since a guy in a review for the hard drive said "if your rig can handle SATA-2, get these drives" but in the specs part of the page it just say SATA 3.0BG/s and thats what my mobo says it can handle... im confused on what to listen too about the review or the specs.(pretty sure specs r right though) just making sure b4 i buy and get pissed that it wont work

Please help?!?! thx

yup they will work and remember retail boxed motherboards do come with cables, so you don't need to buy SATA cables. (I just had a friend buy cables not knowing they came with the board)
