gaming computer for $500 ? WOW - figure the ATI 3870 or the Nvidia 8800gt are around $250 by them selves, you are NOT going to be able to get a HIGH end gaming system for $500.

There is just no way.

Yeah, expect to pay at least $1000 USD (about £5500 EGP) for a halfway decent gaming system (not top of the line, just decent) and that's only if you build it yourself. If you buy one prebuilt, you're looking at a MUCH higher price. Your better off going with a console such as a xbox360 or a PS3 for gaming at those prices.

thats $1330(wierd huh) with the 750i and one video card, THAT can handle just about any game at MAX settings, not to mention most people have more than one Hard Drive, and more than one DVD drive and SLI video cards, so it can all add up fast

Depending on what exactly you mean by high end gaming, it can get very expensive. skierkid has shown a great example of this (it actually is worse if you have to get a mouse keyboard monitor and OS as well) but you only really need that type of system if you plan to play the latest and greatest FPS games. If, on the other hand you plan to play something like World of Warcraft or some other MMORPG, we can help you put together a system for around $500 that will run those games fine. I think there may have been some confusion with the language barrier so, if you could, please clear something up for us...

Also does this include a monitor as well? If so, what size?
If you have one already, what size is it. There's no point in getting a 8800GTS 512MB card if you don't use a large monitor!

most wanted as in, need for speed? wow, thats pretty old, i play PROSTREET and Carbon on my P.O.S(although PROSTREET has like 18FPS on lowest settings but Carbon has like 40 on high)

no sound card, no aftermarket CPU cooling, really dont need an SLI board, get a weaker CPU(E6320 is plenty), get a cheaper case(cheapest that you dont mind looking at), PC2 6400 RAM, weaker PSU(~500W), 8600 series video card or less(8500)

for starters

$500 gaming rig...not so easy, but at least the games you mentioned are neither cpu or gpu intensive...
