P5K-E is the model just over the vanilla P5K. Then you have the Deluxe, Premium, Maximus...

Well the Quads in, and I have it leak testing, no leakers yet. As soon as I get the air out I'll fire it up and do some burn in. If it fires, you know Asus 95% of the time they fire up, the other 5% it's a fight.

I've been quite lucky with them. My M2N-E overclocked RAM rated at 2.1V and now my P5K-E booted the E8400 with an old BIOS without any problems
Good luck with the Quad!

I've had pretty good luck with them, Had to fight the M3A to get it kick started. This one fired right up.
I got a USB Overvolt Situation detected error, unplugging the USB case cables cured that up until I get to figuring it out, and I got a drive error on an Asus Quiet Track CD/RW that I use to keep wear and tear down on the DVD burner. Just unplugged it until tomorrow. Other than those minor things it's gone pretty good.
Still got updates to do, bios to flash, stuff like that. Figuring do the updates, clone off to another hard drive, load the benches and run it. Then read past the Oc Guide cause it's been so long for me and Intel to tango I need to brush up.
I was kinda impressed loading XP, some of the screens were flipping past so fast I couldn't keep up.
And there must be a Computer Higher Power cause it is a G0 processor. So far on the water cooling end (By Asus PcProbe which is probably wrong as usual) it says Idle temps are running at 20C, to good to be right.
I'll start a thread on the upgrade soon.

Most, if not all the Q6600 left on the market are Go stepping, especially at the more popular etailers that sell through stock relatively quickly. Glad to hear you got a Go though as they overclock like mad.
