That's nice to know, how come nobody ever told me *makes note to rePrime rig*Sovereign wrote:Actually, I was told under Options to specifically set "Round-Off checking" or else some errors may be missed.Alathald wrote:Nope, if it errors it says it errored and quits...geokilla wrote:Is there a special setting I have to check when using Prime so that it'll show errors and stop Priming if it does encounter an error?
Re: Prime95 Poll
This is a good question... my system is failed after 18 h 21 m ... is it stable? I dunno! The FAQ that comes with p95 says:
Q) How long should I run the torture test?
A) I recommend running it for somewhere between 6 and 24 hours.
The program has been known to fail only after several hours and in
some cases several weeks of operation. In most cases though, it will
fail within a few minutes on a flaky machine.
Re: Prime95 Poll
Look at it this way...How often are you running programs that stress your system like Prime for 21 hours straight, or for even 6 hours for that matter.
For most users, I would consider 2 hours of error free Prime to be stable, but hey, thats just my opinion. For power users, more would be needed.
