I use Coretemp and HWMonitor and they always give me the exact same readings.

I second the Core Temp and CPUID HWMonitor they always seem to match and are more reliable than the rest I've tried.

From what I've seen, RealTemp reports the Tjunction 5c lower than the rest of the good reporting programs, that's why it reports the temp 5c lower, so basicly they are the same after you add the 5c to the temp.....................

Core Temp and CPUID HWMonitor are idetical for me too with RealTemp reporting a 5c differance (cooler) as Bio-Hazard mentioned .

so what does realtemp really offer that would make someone want to use it when the other programs offer more accurate results? I've never used Realtemp and am just curious.
