is this technology out yet? :P
Hey.. couldnt find any where to put this, so here i go.
I have one very bad Mobo, ( no fan slots ATALL apart from CPU)
I have a spare pci x1 and two pci card slots left, and i am wondering, if there is any cards that will fit in these slots, and they have on these cards, FAN SPACES! such as your 3-pin, and 4-pin fans..
Ive looked all over the places.... all i can find is networks card..... printer....firewire...usb....
So if they are REAL! please send me a link! it would be very very much appreciated...
Also, if they arent, i think we need to make a petition to some component manufacturer to get these made! ill buy one.. lol

If you're wanting to add a boat load of fans look at getting a power distribution block like this
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... s_id=21287
or
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... ts_id=4420
If you're only adding a couple fans then look for a 4 pin molex to 3 pin fan connector like this
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... cts_id=603

thats great, like the last one, but the fact is that i can not control the fan speeds via software as its just connected to the PSU. thats why i was thinking thata pci controller fan thing majig would be awesome ( if it was real or not )

There are some places with them still in stock.
The hard part to your need is the software control, found one other called mCube T Balancer bigNG, but its almost $100.
I think you would be fine with 4 to 3 pin adapter and a couple quiet fans running 100% all the time. Definitely the cheapest route.
