Port Problem

Post by Alathald »

I've noticed that my folding clients have been unable to send their results for about a day or so and decided something was up...I checked to be sure that I have both port 80 and port 8080 open in Vista Firewall (currently my only firewall) and I do. So I went online and found an open port tester just to be doubly sure. It found no open ports whatsoever, I then did the stupid thing and turned off the firewall temporarily and ran the tests again, still no go. This has me stumped...

BTW I am connected to the internet through my cell phone (tethered) and I thought for a second that could be the cause but I have sent in a couple of WU a few days ago just fine so IDK... ](*,)

Anybody have any ideas?

It's not your problem. I have been having the same thing going on. I notice every weekend F@H have server issues. We just need to wait it out. Fold on!

I've got 5 unsent units on this machine alone. If the servers don't come back up before morning, my queue will be full and I'll be sitting on my hands.
