Hey, does anyone know of a contact number for UABIT that they actually answer at. I called the one on the website and no one picked up.

I want them to cross ship me a MB, but I don't feel I should pay for it, because the one they sent me on my last RMA (a week ago) was bad.

I am really unhappy at their service. I remember years ago repairing a guy's computer which had an ABIT board and was very happy with their service, what the hell happened since 2002?

I don't mind paying for cross shipping on the first one, but I don't deserve to pay it for the second one.

Edit: This just gets better by the minute. I called the main number and it goes to voice mail. I emailed them, but I don't have much hope for them answering.

I love the MB specs, set up and stuff, but their customer service is just horrid.

What happened to ABIT? Their entire US marketing team quit a couple years back and they company was purchased by another company... Notice the name change to Universal abit. The website hasn't been changed since 2006 and we haven't gotten anything or heard from abit in well over a year when it comes to motherboards. The last news post on the abit site is from May 2008, which is nearly half a year ago.

abit right now is promoting digital picture frames... This is the last e-mail I got from abit (3 days ago)

Should I continue? The ABIT that we all knew and loved went away years ago when their changed their name to abit then Universal abit.

I was talking to a friend of mine sunday, he's an ABIT Mobo fan. He told me ABIT is getting out of the Mobo market!
I don't know much more about it but, it's always a bummer when one of the big names walk away for whatever reason!

Lately their motherboard releases have been getting later and later, the IP35Pro board was really good, but was late to market, and they haven't even got a P45 board out that I've heard about. So it wouldn't surprise me if they were pulling out all together.

abit is done... i knew that was bound to happen 4 years ago and their factory was making more Zenith TV parts than motherboards when I was over in China.

Yup, never buy from them again. I think I'll keep away from Zenith too.
