Problem: Computer Noises/Crash

I'm new to these forums but I have been folding for my friend for about a month now :D Anyway, here's my question.

My computer I built about a year ago has just started messing up on me. The computer started making noises a few days ago that sound like when you spray a can of air freshener. The noise happens about every 10 seconds and lasts for a few seconds. I just figured that I needed to get some compressed air and clean some dust out of my fans (It's been a year since I cleaned them). Then the other day my computer crashed and restarted after opening up Counter Strike Source. After I restarted the comp I started up Call of Duty 4 and it crashed once again. So far today it has been fine and I have been playing both games normally, although the noise is still coming from the computer. Any idea what it is? Hope its not the PSU >.<

next time you hear the noise, open your case and see where it is coming from. for a noise like that, the only possible culprits would be fans or the harddrive (as those are the only moving parts)

I stuck my head next to the computer and it sounded like it was coming from the back, actually it sounded like it was coming from inside the power supply.

Yoooooo. Hurry up and fold for me :P

NCIX has the OCZ StealthXStream 500W for like $50 I believe. My sis is using that and it's been great so far. Only problem is shipping...You need to check how much they're charging for sipping.

and I'd do it quick. I lost a PSU once and it took the MB and CPU at the same time.
