Hey you probably saw over here (
http://forums.legitreviews.com/about19073.html) me getting my jukebox onto the wireless network here at home, the signal is really crappy, As in 11mb/s and 3 out of 8 bars of reception is there anyway to boost the signal that the Netgear WG111V2 puts out? I would prefer it if it didnt cost any money because the device was free as it is.

You can't get a performance boost for nothing >_>
But you are in luck that you can boost it very cheaply.

Also depending on the wireless router you have at home you might be able to increase the output signal through the GUI. In addition if you havent already tried it attach a USB extension to your WG111 and try moving it around to see if you can get a better signal. If you get no Joy there, the link Dan gave you has several quick and cheap and free (if you are enough of a pack rat) solutions that work.

ive found that if its in a fairly good location, just biting the bullet and wiring it is often easier than screwing around trying to get wifi. but sometimes thats not an option. i made a cheap satilite dish style antenna with a usb stick for a computer downstairs, got a couple of usb extenders, daisychained them together to get the stick over to a table, where i duct taped it in to a colander (the plastic ones wont work) and attached to cheap mini tripod i had lying around and adjusted it to get the best signal.
