SupremeFX-Xfi inquiry

Before I go Apes**t on Asus and Creative..I'd like to know who(if anyone) has used the SupremeFX X-Fi solution and if it let you adjust the treble/bass or not..mine won't let me and that doesn't sit well with me. not sure if it's defective or if it's just how it is. I bought another sound card but that doesn't fit where the Supreme FX card goes since a row of fins on the heatsink next to the slot block it(truthfully that row of fins is not needed, if they weren't there, the new sound card would fit) so it went to the bottom pci-e slot where I was gonna put the 3rd video card for now...I'm waitin on asus and creative's response but I figured maybe someone here might know. I also know that MSI has started to include these daughter "sound cards" too..so if anyone has used that solution on either board, some input is greatly appreciated

Edit..I think the more logical question is..with onboard sound(with drivers installed of course), can you still adjust the treble/bass? I never used on board sound in my time of using computers..the one time I did I hated the sound(years ago)

There should be a multi band equalizer in the software thats included with the SupremeFX X-Fi sound card!
An equalizer gives you alot more control than just Bass & Treble!

Actually I meant within Windows.(sound properties)..The x-fi titanium lets me do it.. but while it fits in the top pci-e port the heatsink next to it blocks it..im either gonna bend it a lil to let it fit or im gonna have to think of either returning the Titanium and deal with onboard..3rd option would be to just go for SLI and keep the Titanium since it would fit then..The creative software doesn't let me do jack with anything but a movie or game..for a $400 motherboard it was bundled with i expect to be able to have full control ya know lol

I know what you mean. I had a supremefx card with my Asus Crosshair and I never could get it to work properly.
