So,

I've been working on said computer for a hi-profile computer (all the time she's yelling at me to hurry, as if I plan her hard drive failing ahead of time). Her old computer was FAT, not FAT32, just FAT, and was 20GB big and full; and on top of that it was failing.

I had to mirror the drive to the new computer she gave me, fine right? NO, I spent two hours this morning trying to figure out why it wouldn't boot in the new computer after a soft install, figured out it was in RAID Mode for a single drive, go figure.

Finally get it into windows, now it's time to resize the partions - I boot into Acronis and go to resize it. CAN'T RESIZE, BAD SECTORS...YAY, she gave me ANOTHER bad drive.

I whip out another GOOD one of mine, and I'm sitting here mirroring it once again, wish me luck! :finga: :axe: Had to convert to NTFS too! :0

SO total time on this project, about 9 hours, wait until she gets the bill :)

Hang in there. I just got a call that ticks me off.

My friend and his wife own their own business. Three weeks ago I went there and cleaned spyware and viruses that I found. I installed an AV program and all was well. Today he calls me because his wife had a popup that told her she had viruses. Well like a damn idiot she clicked yes to "scan". I told him that it is likely spyware and the McAfee Small Business AV/Spyware program I installed should find it. Hopefully he can figure it out so I don't have to go back out there. Sometimes I wish I never told anybody that I know a damn thing about computers.

That sounds just like AV360 to me, and without a good amount of computer expertise, it's a nightmare to remove completely, if not impossible.
