At the risk of being deleted

Can anyone suggest a good port for forwarding for Azureus. I had a really good one and forgot to write it down before I blew everything away (along with some ungodly mistake that included 18+ GB of music that took 10+ years to collect). #-o  :toimonster: I know this is skating on thin ice as far as topic protocol but thought I'd give it a shot. Delete this if I overstepped the line......

Thanks
Jack

Torrents in and of themselves are not illegal, for example Ubuntu uses them as their main form of distribution and a few bands have even released their records via torrents (ie Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead) so I think as long as you keep on the subject of the torrent client and not anything naughty you get with it you should be fine.

As for a good port, I've never paid much attention (verizon seems pretty good about not port blocking) but there is a full list of ports and there common uses over here [link]

That's been my experience, too. I think my last one was in the 51xxx range.

Thanks again,
Jack
