Command Line Primer please!

Post by unfaithfulsfan »

I know you're all going to snicker when you read this question but remember (please) I'm on heavy duty pain drugs. What is the command to renew and release all network connections?

A friend of my wife's brought a Presario F700 with Vista Premium that cannot connect wirelessly and I cannot even get it to connect via ethernet. sometimes being perpetually stoned had its drawbacks

Thanks
Jack

Dont worry Skipp, I had to read every post on here to know what was being asked..It's funny how one of the the most fundamental things to know is also the most forgotten one :)(in my case anyway) lol

In between the release and renew commands I like to throw in ipconfig /flushdns.
